ssamjang (쌈장)
What is it?
A Korean condiment made by combining doenjang and gochujang with sesame oil, garlic, and scallions. Thicker and more complex than either paste alone, used primarily as a dipping sauce for ssam. Made fresh at home or bought ready-made.
