A Korean grain mill or grinding shop, traditionally used to process rice, sesame, and other grains into flour or oil. Still found in traditional markets, where sesame seeds are brought in to be pressed into fresh chamgireum on the spot. The smell of freshly ground sesame is closely associated with the space.
